Rue LaLa, a leading e-commerce destination connecting world-class brands with the next-generation shopper, partnered with Cotton Incorporated for a second year. To kick off the collaborations, the brands launched a custom pop-up shop.
The co-branded #SummerofCotton pop-up shop was for two days only, on June 4 and 5. The first of its kind for Rue La La and Cotton Incorporated, the pop-up shop gave customers exclusive access to shop the collection early (before becoming available on RueLaLa.com on June 6 and provided an opportunity to experience the product in person. The brands showcased how cotton is so "cool for the summer" with outfit solutions for the season's to-dos, from beach weddings to picnics in the park to music festivals.
The weekend pop-up shop included a DJ, a fashion illustrator, a GIF photo booth, sweet treats, and free tote bags for attendees. On Sunday, blogger Jacey Duprie of Damsel In Dior was on location. Duprie, the daughter of a South Texas cotton farmer, was a natural fit for the event.
Nearly 2,000 total attendance / 50% of on-site purchases from new members / 453 photobooth photos taken / 32,000+ unique online impressions
